How We Work

Where your home is our priority. We provide exceptional care, ensuring your property is well-maintained, protected, and always ready for you—whether you’re home or away. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our expert training and top-quality services.

Home Watch Service Plans

Angel Home Watch of SWFL offers three service plans to fit your needs. Our levels of attention include weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly inspections, with weekly service being the most popular choice for timely detection and resolution of potential issues. Additional visits can be arranged upon request.

A standard home inspection includes:

  • Check air conditioner operation and record indoor temperature
  • Run water in all sinks, tubs, and showers
  • Flush toilets
  • Inspect landscaping condition (maintenance per vendor agreement)
  • Check for signs of household pests
  • Inspect interior walls and ceilings for visible mold, mildew, or water damage
  • Inspect exterior areas, including lanais, decks, patios, siding, and garages
  • Bring in mail and newspapers
  • Start vehicle (upon client request; additional fee applies)
  • Inspect pool condition (maintenance per vendor agreement)
  • Run garbage disposal
  • Verify all doors and windows are locked and secured upon departure

Home Watch Inspection summaries are sent via email or fax on the day of inspection. Clients may select their preferred delivery method when completing the service agreement.

In the event of a security issue, property damage, or maintenance concern, we will immediately notify you and recommend a course of action. You will also receive digital photographs documenting the condition of your home.

Vendor Oversight

While you are away, Angel Home Watch of SWFL monitors the services provided by your contracted vendors, such as landscaping, pest control, and pool maintenance companies, to ensure the service quality you expect. If issues arise, we will promptly coordinate with vendors to resolve them and keep you informed.

Hurricane Preparedness

In the event of an emergency—including hurricanes or severe storms—an Angel Home Watch representative is available 24/7 to provide assistance. We maintain trusted vendor relationships and oversee all details, including damage documentation and coordination with insurance agents.

Service Agreement & Payment

Home watch inspections begin once we receive your signed service agreement and the first month’s payment.

  • Service plans run month-to-month but may be prepaid for the season.
  • A 30-day notice is required to terminate services.

For concierge services, an authorized credit card and signature on file are required. Charges will be billed on the day of service. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to schedule concierge services.

Payment Terms:

  • Payments are due on the 1st of each month.
  • You will not be billed for months when no inspections are requested.
  • Accepted payment options include full payment, monthly invoicing, or automatic monthly deductions.
  • Clients paying by check will receive services after payment clears.
